Samurai Warriors 4-II (Sengoku Musou 4-II) is a revised edition of Samurai Warriors 4. Producers add that it is the "other side" of the same game, either the continuation or expansion of Xtreme Legends. This is the last title to celebrate the tenth anniversary of this series.
Samurai Warriors 4-II has received a critically positive reception, scoring 74 out of 100 for the PlayStation 4 version on Metacritic. During the debut week of release in Japan, the latest version of the original game has sold 44,574 units on the PS3, 23,519 units on the PS Vita and 22,468 units on the PS4.
