The story in this game begins three years after the Lingshan incident. Apparently, the incident was successfully muted American troops with the help of Nomad, Psycho (Crysis Warhead), and Prophet. The fate of Nomad and Psycho is unfortunately not so clearly told in this game. Funnily enough, the Lingshan incident successfully closed its information meeting from public knowledge and it seems that the people involved felt Ceph had only a limited army in Lingshan alone. Apparently, New York must bear the consequences. The Ceph attack begins with the terrible spread of the virus on Manhattan island that causes the sufferer to degrade cells. The body of the patient mutates into a pile of meat that eventually kills and melts the patient's body. The scene from this virus is terrible! Moreover, this game has a high quality display and detail!
